Ok, now is the time for the President (while he’s reaching out), to also reach out to the Democratic wordsmiths and mouthpieces like, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the Former President, Bill Clinton.

For the past couple of years, they have been silent.  Maybe because the Whitehouse indicated, “We got this”.  Maybe there were ill feelings, malice, or even jealousy. Maybe the silence was because everybody was pursuing other interests.

Whatever the reasons, y’all need to get refocused [the Whitehouse ‘don’t got this’].

In my opinion, President Obama needs to have a ‘Brotha’ Summit’ and find out how to give a clear, crisp message to the American People.  Like President Clinton’s, “I feel your pain”.  Or, Like Rev. Jackon’s, “Down with dope, Up with Hope”.  Or, even Rev. Al’s, “We’re not anti-police… we’re anti-police brutality.”

These kinds of short direct messages are what the American People need; along with the professorial, down to earth explanations that the President has a knack for giving.

No doubt that President Obama understands policy and issues—he just either takes too long to talk about them, or does not convey the message intended.  “A Brotha’ Summit is What we Need.”  That’s my quote for today.
