The Friday Lunch Buffet
I was out Friday delivering some business cards to a client. She had given me the address because she was catering an event there (402 West Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC).
What I didn’t know was that the event was an open buffet to the general public that Frank, Stephanie & Camille, chefs from the Golden Spoon, catered every Friday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Talk about good food– yes sir, It was.
I also found out that the address, 402 West Edenton Street is the location of the St. Paul, A.M.E. Church–a beautiful historic structure. The buffet is on the second floor in the dining area. The atmosphere was absolutely welcoming and inviting.
I paid my $8, grabbed a tray, utensils and some plates…and went to work. Did I mention the food was good? Thank you Camille.
So, if you all are ever hungry and in the downtown Raleigh area on a Friday between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., I think you should stop by 402 West Edenton Street. Good people, Good food.
