So, it’s summer– and it’s time to get out and enjoy the warmth of the sun.  A real estate friend of mine, Denise, was telling me about some cool jazz events coming through Charlotte, NC and I thought it would be cool to share some of the information here.  As I was researching, I found a ‘Smooth Jazz Calendar‘ that listed events happening all over the place.

Along with that, I found this:  ‘JAM’… Jazz Appreciation Month…

I didn’t realize the whole month of April was dedicated to jazz and its history at The National Museum of American History.  It’s a pretty cool site and I thought you might enjoy catching up on things you might not have known about.  Some of the information on the site is dated… the Education link is very good.  Click on over to the museum and see what you’ve missed… and catch up on the history.
