‘People’ should remember this feeling of needing ‘help’ when they vote for officials who try to take assistance from others and stop being so damn selfish. There is balance.

It seems like whenever there is an emergency, labels go away. There are no more Democrats or Liberals, …or Republicans and whatever else…there are only Americans helping Americans.

Question: Why can’t it be that way all the time? Why does using a ‘shelter’ take on a different meaning when other than the ‘homeless’ have to use them? There is no, “not in my neighbor” prejudice going on now…although if it could, I’m almost sure it would… But for the time being, everyone is having that Come to Jesus moment when they realize in their own mind, “I’m not as independent as I thought.” Next thought, “What am I going to do if my house is not there when I get back?

Normally, for most folk they just want to have a decent life and live. Very few people intentionally game the system. 2018 is coming up fast. Think about times like these–that you have little to no control over when you vote instead of just the good times you might be having when things are going your way. Government can be good for everybody–with the right people in office.
