I’ve been checking out the different candidates as they have entered the race. I must say there are a lot of them who have a lot of great ideas. But, for me, they all stem from efforts made by Senator Bernie Sanders. Even the Democratic Platform was changed because of issues that were pushed forward by the Sanders’ supporters.
I think it’s a good thing that so many people want to jump into the presidential race, but everybody can’t be president at once. What I’ve put together in this article is what I think would be a great political dream team. Much like the ones you would see in sports for people who want to create their own ultimate winning team.
I’ve heard some say that Senator Sanders can’t win because his ideas and polices are “too far out there”. Well, in my view a President needs to be a visionary. He’ll come up with the goals, and Congress will look at his proposals and create the laws and policies that will achieve those goals. It’s not a one person process. Having someone with bold ideas and a vision helps advance a goal more than someone who only sees the obvious.
For example, in 2016, fighting for a $15 minimum wage was only a thought to some. And, many politicians only were only willing to talk about $10 – $12 minimum wage because that was all they could see. But today, $15 is the standard companies and states are moving for because they also caught the vision.
Having said that my “Dream Team” is based on a Sanders Presidency with other candidates and people filling several of the other prominent positions in the cabinet (with links to what the position’s responsibilities are). Enjoy!

I am sure there are others who could also fill these cabinet positions with ease. I just looked at people I could recall and who I thought would do well; and to get the conversation started. Ok… who you got?
There are other positions and committees, but are not covered in this article. Any ideas? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
