Be Confident In Who You Are; You might not be doing anything wrong.

This is my encouraging word for today… Be. Confident. In. Who. You. Are.  I would venture to say that it’s not always “you’re doing something wrong”. You just haven’t found your tribe; your clique; your team.

“You’re doing something wrong” seems to be the go to answer when others find your actions out of alignment with their thinking and or timing.  Apparently, that statement, and framework of thinking isn’t applied equally towards everyone.  And, if it they were, how few people seem to listen.

In my varied life experiences, I’ve seen people who follow the rules and try to do everything “right” and still don’t seem to progress as much as they desire. Yet, people, who we’ve all wondered “How the hell did they even learn to breathe“; seem to have immeasurable success!

So, what’s really going on?  Maybe, you are doing it right; but, not for the people you are currently dealing with; or the time in which you are dealing with them.  Maybe it’s time to find your clique.  Find the group of folks that appreciate who you are and what you have to offer.  Find a team that you can help and who are willing to help you.  Find the tribe that you can associate with– where you can breathe deeply, and laugh out loud with.   Race, religion, color most likely will have nothing to do with these people.  Because they will be the people who live way beyond those boundaries; and who simply want to win and see others winning in their own right.  No judgement, no fake competition, no stress.   WARNING:  That group might be small, and it may take some time to find them,  but fine them you must!   The next question…. What do you do with everybody else?  Answer:  #GoldenRule, stay praying, and know that they are trying to live their best life too.  #LetsGo  #StayWinning

P.S.  Imma still talk about crazy shit that I see tho 👀😁🤤

Learning How to Be ‘Always Ready’ [a different take on an old post]

During my military days, I was once assigned to a unit who had a motto of, “Always Ready”. (Tish was cool as hell when everyone snapped to attention and yelled it out– …was a lil bit corny tho…) It was a training unit and I believe the ethos behind it was that, as an individual and collective as a unit; we should always be ready to contribute to the accomplishment of the mission.

Therefore, being mentally, and physically prepared and present were essential in meeting goals.  Even during personal crisis, you had a contribution to make.  Now, I wished I learned how to totally apply that to my overall life.  I was great at compartmentalizing as I think many were.  It helped me to displace and set aside the private side of my life to accomplish things on the ‘Soldier’ side.

In reflection, incorporating my entire self might have worked better for me.  For some, separating ‘work life’ from ‘personal/home life’ might work great… but that shit doesn’t work for everybody.  I think I’ll go more into depth about in an eBook, but for now we’ll keep pushing on the concept. (You know I like to keep my posts close to 300 words or less.)

So, the question is, How Do You Become Always Ready? I can say for me, learning about myself helped a lot.  Getting proper rest and exercise also helped.  The last thing I’ll mention here is motivation.  Some people are givers.  If you are one, learn to give that same energy you are willing to give to the job, to yourself.  Doing so might put you on the path to finding happiness.

I hope this helps!  Visit my site often!!

I’m working on a few eBooks as extensions about various topics I’ve posted on! 😉
